muscles used in labor and delivery, breathing techniques useful
during labor, safe post-natal practice, and meditations to strengthen the bond between you and your baby.
Astanga
Astanga is a rigorous, traditional form of vinyasa yoga, following a standard series of poses. It is the basis of most "power yoga" forms. Read more about Astanga here
Vinyasa
Vinyasa means "moving on the breath." An active class that uses morning energy to warm and strengthen the body.
Power Yoga is the Baptiste Power Yoga flow in a heated room. Bring a towel and water.
Yin Yoga
This quiet yoga form targets the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Postures are held three to five minutes or as long as ten minutes at a time. This type of practice is complementary to all vigorous physical activity, including some of the more muscular Yoga styles and helps prepare the body=mind for meditation.
Kripalu Yoga
Kripalu Yoga is an inquiry-based yoga methodology focused on awakening the natural intelligence of the life-force (the flow of prana) in order to promote thriving in all aspects of life. Kripalu Yoga uses classic asanas, pranayama, meditation, and relaxation techniques to increase awareness of body, breath, and mind and to encourage natural alignment on and off the mat.
